IIT Kharagpur Students Design Non Electric Cooling Tank as an Alternative to AC’s

Benefits of the passive solar water wall cooling system include the promise of no CFC and carbon emission, minimal electricity usage and a 50 per cent reduction in cooling cost.

Two students of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur have invented a wonderful one. Which is your treatment of every misery.

These students have discovered a water tanker which is being seen as an alternative to AC in future. Your electricity bill coming due to the use of AC using the water tank fitted inside the wall can be reduced by 50 percent.

The special thing is that a home cooling system is completely eco friendly too.
This discovery of the students of IIT Kharagpur, which has made this cooling system, named after Passive Solar Water Wall, has been included in Top Five in the Shell Ideas 360 Audience Choice Awards.

The names of these students included in the teknik team of the Department of Geophysics include Shahasarsu Maurya and Somrup Chakraborty. Passive Solar Water Wall is a rectangular water tank that is fitted inside the wall.

How does work

Maurya and Chakravarty say that this water tank is slightly different from the old tankers because its surface area is quite high. This has been done so that maximum amount of air can reach the tank and help to cool it faster.

It is being said that this can make the choice of AC in the coming time. It will be fitted in such a way inside the walls so that room temperature is fully controlled.

Because of this, it will happen that even if electricity continues to run, it will remain so cool that you will avoid the viscosity of the sweaty heat.

There will be plenty of power consumption in this. At the same time, it is eco-friendly because it does not throw out the hot air inside, which will not threaten the global warming.
