Soon, Whatsapp user will be able to share and send all type of files.
Too long time, many files could not be shared on WhatsApp and users had to upload them on cloud before sharing it.
WhatsApp has been the go-to app for users to send photos, videos or even Word files. There are several workarounds for files that don’t support WhatsApp.
Users can upload the files on cloud and then sharing the download link on WhatsApp, or use third-party apps to send the unsupported files. Seems WhatsApp doesn’t want its users to opt for third-party apps.
The new feature, which is still in the testing phase, was first spotted by WABetainfo.
WABetainfo has claimed that WhatsApp is testing support for all types of files for Android, iOS and Windows Phone and the update will be rolled out in the coming months.
Reportedly, the file sharing limit for iOS will be 128MB while Android users will get 100MB limit.
The new file formats will include MP3 and APK files.
