Pay Scale
Pay Band – 2: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay (LP – Rs. 7400 | UP – Rs. 8700) and other allowances as per Assam Govt. rules.

- Unreserved: 18 – 40 Years
- OBC/MOBC: up to 43 Years
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 Years

Educational Qualification
For LP Schools (120 Posts):- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education (recognized by RCI)
- OR Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) with ATET/CTET
- Must have ATET/CTET (LP) passed certificate
- Graduate with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), recognized by RCI
- Must have ATET/CTET (UP) passed certificate
