Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Passed HSLC or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution.
- Possess NAC/NTC in relevant trade.
- 1 year Industrial/Teaching experience preferred.
- Valid Employment Exchange Registration (Assam) is mandatory.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
18 to 40 years. Age relaxations as per govt norms:
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): +5 years
- OBC/MOBC: +3 years
- Ex-servicemen: +2 years
- PWD: +10 years
Pay Scale & Application Fee
- Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000–70,000 (PB-2) + GP Rs. 6,800 + allowances
- Application Fee: Nil (no fee required)
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in two phases:
Phase I: Written Test
- MCQ based, 100 marks, 2 hours, held in Guwahati
- No negative marking
- Sections: Subject Knowledge (60), General English (10), GK (15), Digital Literacy (15)
Phase II: Skill Test
- Shortlisted at 1:4 ratio based on written test
- Skill Test carries 50 marks
- Original documents verified before Skill Test
